Innovation continues at Unex. We have now added a new hinged access lid in U48X material with a stainless steel finish to the Floor Box System 52 range.
This new development is designed to provide convenient, occasional access to electrical and communications services in intermittent-use areas or mobile installations, via pre-installed access points in the floor.
This solution allows the connection point to be opened, used, and subsequently closed once use is complete.
The hinged access lid offers high mechanical strength and durability. It provides watertightness up to a height of 1 cm with the unit in service, allowing installation in floors subject to wet cleaning under controlled conditions. This feature is particularly relevant in spaces where maintenance forms part of regular use, such as open-plan areas, retail environments, or multi-purpose spaces.
In addition, no earthing is required, and it complies with the European Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EN 50085-2-2, maintaining the system’s safety standards
With the incorporation of the new hinged access lid, the Floor Box System 52 range is now complete, engineered to provide discreet, safe, and visually integrated means of distributing cables within the floor.
